Conjunction Event Pages

A conjunction event page is everything Satcat holds on one predicted close approach. It is reached from the Conjunction Events Dashboard, and covers the following:

  • Details is where the page opens: the event summary, the CDM history, close approach geometry, and the analysis plots.
  • Operator Coordination shows what each organization has declared and what Satcat has inferred about it, and holds the Contact Center.
  • Logs records everything that has happened to the conjunction event, from the first CDM ingested through each risk level change.
  • CDM Comparison reports what a mitigation plan would do to the risk metrics.
  • Maneuver Designer generates a tradespace of COLA maneuvers for the primary RSO, for Pro and Enterprise organizations. Tradespaces can be generated automatically when Satcat detects a high-risk conjunction event, covered in Collision Avoidance.
  • Sensor Tasking requests Kayhan's commercial sensor network to refine the primary or secondary state, which is most useful for poorly tracked secondary debris and uncooperative RSOs. It requires an Enterprise tier and open sensor allocation.
