Conjunction Events Dashboard

The dashboard is where you find the conjunction events that need attention. Filters apply across everything below, so narrowing once narrows all of it.

Events

Every conjunction event involving your RSOs, plotted by risk, with Show as grid and Show as table as alternatives. Each conjunction event links to its conjunction event page.

Show risk levels colors by your organization's classification rather than by risk metric. Show MD y-axis replots against miss distance, which is where conjunction events with a null Pc appear once the Pc filter is cleared.

All CDMs

Every CDM behind those conjunction events, listed individually rather than collapsed into the conjunction event it belongs to. Each carries TCA, primary and secondary, Pc, miss distance with its radial, in-track, and cross-track values, HBR, originator, the OD quality rating of each state estimate, and creation date. Individual CDMs download from here.

This is where a value can be followed from one CDM to the next. Time filters apply to creation date rather than TCA.

Comparison

Screens an uploaded ephemeris against a catalog and reports the aggregate risk it produces, so two ephemerides for the same RSO can be weighed against each other before either is operationalized. Ephemerides are loaded through Manage ephemeris, and the CDM selection method determines which CDMs contribute to the aggregate.

Operational CDMs already matched to an ephemeris on Space-Track, EU SST, or Starlink can be collected instead of screening fresh.

See Ephemeris Comparison.

Statistics

Aggregate risk across the filtered set: risk level counts, conjunction events by miss distance, Conjunction by altitude, and breakdowns by country, owner, debris family, debris object, and payload.

Public

The same aggregate risk for the public catalog, without signing in. These close approaches are TLE-based, and TLE accuracy is not sufficient for high-confidence conjunction assessment.

Filtering and Sorting

Filters apply to Events, All CDMs, and Statistics:

  • Organization and its Constellations
  • Originator
  • Risk level
  • Probability of Collision (Pc) and Miss Distance, either across all objects or set separately for Crewed, Payload, and all other objects
  • TCA Start and TCA End
  • Show or hide Intra-org events

Filtering by Risk Level

Filtering by Risk level selects conjunction events by your organization's classification rather than by a risk metric. The filter matches one risk level exactly, not that risk level and above.

Risk level and risk metric filters are mutually exclusive. Selecting a risk level clears the Pc and Miss Distance filters, and applying a Pc or Miss Distance filter clears the risk level.

Conjunction events can also be sorted by risk level, highest first.

For what each risk level means and how it is assigned, see Risk Levels.
