Satcat Documentation
Satcat is a data aggregation platform for spaceflight safety, used by satellite operators to assess conjunction risk, maintain orbit custody, and coordinate maneuvers in an ever-growing congested space environment. Satcat combines operator-submitted ephemerides, commercial catalog data, and third party sensor networks to evaluate conjunction events and deliver data through APIs and standard file formats.
To support transparency and shared situational awareness, Satcat regularly publishes and updates selected public data including satellite metadata, TLEs, catalog statistics, and broad risk summaries across satellite and debris populations. These resources provide operators and non-operators with visibility into object behavior and the surrounding space environment, enhancing awareness across the SSA community.

Satcat Features
Directory
Public catalogs of tracked objects and satellite owner/operators, with access to foundational state data and analytics.
Operations
Conjunction assessment, catalog screening, maneuver planning, and Space Traffic Coordination for both routine operations and high-interest events.
Satcat Launch
Rapid launch vehicle trajectory screening for orbital and suborbital missions. Cloud-based architecture that can also be deployed on prem for high-side environments.
Satcat LEOP
Operator, launch provider, and government coordination during launch and early orbit phase (LEOP) operations to reduce object cataloging time and provide spaceflight safety during the COLA-gap.
Satcat SDK
Python SDK for integrating and automating Satcat services into operator systems, including ephemeris submission, conjunction event screening, FDS and data interfacing.
Orbit Determination
Automated sensor- and telemetry-based orbit determination for custody assurance, high-accuracy ephemeris generation, and covariance realism support.
Sensor Tasking
Request targeted tracking from commercial sensor network partners to maintain primary RSO custody or reduce uncertainty for secondary objects during conjunction events.
