External Integrations
External integrations connect Satcat Operations to third-party space safety and coordination systems. These integrations are used when Satcat must authenticate to an external provider to submit or receive operator data, receive provider data, or perform actions on behalf of the operator.
Integrations are configured at the group level and apply only to workflows initiated from Satcat that invoke the external system. External providers govern acceptance, processing, and downstream handling of any submitted data.
Available integrations
-
Starlink Integration
Credentialed access to Starlink's Space Traffic Coordination (STC) API for Satcat-initiated Starlink-facing workflows, including screening requests and operational ephemeris submission. -
Space-Track Access
Space-Track CDM access and daily synchronization of Space-Track organization object metadata for conjunction event workflows and asset context maintenance.
Credentialing and attribution
Where an integration supports multiple credential modes, the selected mode determines how requests are attributed within the external system and may affect how asset ownership is represented. Credential changes apply prospectively to new interactions initiated after the configuration update.
Lifecycle and support
Credential rotation, revocation, and access changes are managed through the relevant integration configuration and/or the external provider's access controls. When an external system requires out-of-band access provisioning (for example, email-based authorization), Satcat begins integration activity only after access is granted and confirmed.
