LEOP Setup Guide
This guide outlines the operator responsibilities and data submission steps required to activate Satcat LEOP service. It applies to all tiers and ensures smooth integration and custody tracking during the early orbit phase.
Pre-Launch Checklist
Operators must submit essential mission and spacecraft details before launch to enable initial asset tracking and ingestion pipelines.
What to Submit
Before launch, complete the onboarding form provided by Kayhan. You will be asked to supply:
- Spacecraft name and temporary NORAD ID
- Physical parameters (mass, drag area, coefficients)
- Radio frequency or beacon information
- GNSS receiver presence and configuration (if applicable)
If submitting multiple assets, a spreadsheet template is available to streamline the process.
The onboarding form link is provided by Kayhan during pre-launch coordination. Contact support@kayhan.space if you have not received it.
GNSS & Telemetry
For LEOP Pro and above, operators should be prepared to submit GNSS or telemetry data when available. This enables high-precision orbit determination and continuity of custody.
- Submit basic GNSS receiver configuration and expected accuracy
- Use the Kayhan Dynamics SDK for telemetry delivery via secure credentials
- Supported formats and protocols are reviewed during onboarding
We recommend submitting spacecraft GNSS parameters even when not signing up for LEOP Pro tiers, in order to support fallback tracking and support services.
Platform Setup & Access
To enable automated ingestion and coordination, operators must:
- Grant access to Kayhan on Space-Track.org:
- Log into your Space-Track.org account
- Navigate to Manage > Users
- Add
spacetrack@kayhan.space
with CDM Notification privileges
Kayhan Space Support will activate the Satcat Operations account and send platform credentials.
