Asset Management
Asset Management defines configuration data for Resident Space Objects (RSOs), including physical parameters, maneuverability classification, and propulsion system. These attributes are used for orbit propagation, maneuver planning, and operator-to-operator space traffic coordination.
Business Directory
The Business Directory provides affiliation and coordination context for space operators, manufacturers, and other space economy stakeholders. Each entry aggregates public data on organization identity, asset ownership, and operational visibility. This directory supports transparency, attribution, and open communication across the Satcat platform.
Conjunction Events
Each Conjunction Event in Satcat represents a predicted close approach between tracked objects, consolidating internal and external conjunction data messages (CDMs), operator-submitted ephemeris, and derived risk metrics into a single interface. These pages provide a structured view of encounter geometry, event status, and mitigation posture.
Data Privacy
Satcat Operations handles sensitive operator data with strict access controls and transparent data use policies. This page outlines how your data is used, shared, and protected when participating in coordinated conjunction assessment and maneuver planning.
Group Management
Manage group-level settings for coordination, thresholds, privacy, users, and affiliated businesses under Control Center > Group Management.
Operational Data
Operators use Satcat Operations to upload ephemeris for their assets, enabling real-time conjunction screening, mitigation planning, and intent signaling. When shared with appropriate metadata, this operational data forms the foundation for high-confidence collision risk assessments and coordination with other operators.
Operator Directory
The Operator Directory lists organizations responsible for operating satellites, including both Satcat Operations users and third-party entities. It is accessible under Directory > Operators, and serves as a contact resource for operator-to-operator coordination during active conjunction events.
Rules of the Road
Satcat Operations implements industry-aligned coordination practices based on the Space Safety Coalition's Best Practices Handbook. These rules support standardized maneuver responsibility assignment and enable operators to exchange mitigation intent through structured, asynchronous coordination.
